Community Support Advocate
Duties and Responsibilities:
- • Design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment, and improve daily living.
- • Create and oversee the monthly Oakley recreational calendar
- ◦ Set up, decorating, and clean up events
- ◦ Design creative activities such as arts, crafts, drama, and educational programs
- ◦ Promote engagement by posting in teams daily and making flyers to advertise events
- ◦ Maintain inventory of activity supplies
- ◦ Provide clear directions and materials for all activities
- ◦ Assist with coordinating activities in the community
- • Take pictures of residents and marketing photos
- • Monitor and stock activity and hygiene supplies for the homes
- • Fill weekly supply orders
- • Coordinate activities and supply meals for holidays
- • Complete audits by the established deadline
- • Collaborate effectively with all team members, internal staff, and outside agencies
- • Remain open to receiving and learning from constructive feedback.
- • Communicates with supervisors proactively regarding:
- ◦ PTO and flexing schedules
- ◦ Overwhelm and/or prioritizing tasks
- ◦ Workload and project ideas
- • Maintain and advocate for all Flatrock inc. residents’ rights
- • Complete any additional task assigned

May involve travel to other locations/agencies/meetings. May require evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Qualifications:
- • High School Diploma or equivalent
- • Valid Driver’s license
- • At least one year of prior experience in relevant role, required
- • Experience working with those with behavioral issues
